A world nailed to chaos — and slowly forgetting itself
Before the world had a name, there was only Solu — a formless void that consumed everything. Seven gods drove their will like nails into its chest and held it down. As long as the seven nails stood, the world endured. Then a mortal king named Avareth was loved so deeply his people called him a god — and belief became real. An eighth nail was driven. Then Avareth was murdered, his name erased. The eighth nail shattered. And through the gap it left, Solu began to return.
The Seven Nails
Seven gods. Seven concepts — earth, water, fire, wind, memory, wild, boundary. Their sacrifice is the only thing separating Atherion from the void. People forgot them. The nails still hold. For now.
Soluş
Not a plague. An absence. Trees forget what they are and walk. Wolves forget their pack and go feral. The goblins were once a people. The orcs, a civilization. Now only hunger remains. The world unravels, name by name.
Brimhold
A fortress village on the edge of the void. Every morning, its people call each other by name — not knowing names are the only wall left against Solu. This is where your story begins.
